Adam Shipley uncovers uniqueness of the EPIC-Network through writing during his EPA internship

Adam Shipley joined the City of Maricopa in 2018 as the Economic Development Management Analyst. While pursuing his Bachelor’s in Urban Planning, Adam began his professional career by targeting areas prime for conservation with City of Phoenix Water Services Department. After being promoted to Economic Development Coordinator, Adam is now the project liaison for the City’s biggest commercial projects, small entrepreneurial ventures, and everything business in between. Adam is an environmental sustainability advocate, and in his spare time enjoys traveling, art, cooking, and spoiling his Chiweenie. Josephine Justin illuminates impact of EPIC-Network programs through analysis during her EPA internship

Josephine Justin is currently a senior at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and is majoring in Political Science and Communication Studies. She is currently interning with the US Environmental Protection Agency and is working on projects with their partner, the EPIC-Network. After graduation, she hopes to do her masters in Urban Planning with a concentration in environmental planning. At UNC Charlotte, she is a member of the advanced Model United Nations team and Charlotte Green Initiative.
