The Iloilo Science and Technology University is a university in the City of Iloilo, the Province of Iloilo, the Philippines. The University was established in 1905 as Iloilo Trade School. The School has since grown into a leading technological and professional manpower development institution.
To fulfill some of the vital institutional goals, which are to provide extension and production activities for the improvement of the quality of life in the community and To foster strong and sustainable global relationships, collaboration, and opportunities through instruction, research, and extension for growth and partnership development, the Iloilo Science and Technology University joined EPIC-N in 2021.
The University partners with the Local Government Unit of Dumangas to engage the students on a project to tackle the locals’ vulnerability to climate change. The goal is to develop an environmental program using social marketing techniques and communication strategies.
Iloilo Science and Technology University is the recipient of the UNEP-GAN Seed Grant.
