The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) Service Learning Academy (SLA) is a unit within the Office of Engagement, supporting UNO’s metropolitan mission through community-engaged teaching, research, and partnerships. The SLA collaborates with faculty, P–12 educators, and community partners to design and implement rigorous service learning and courses, connecting academic content with real community priorities. This work contributes to the Office of Engagement’s vision of cultivating meaningful connections that improve life locally, nationally, and globally.

· Students Design & Undesign for More Equitable Communities – A service learning approach to exploring community systems and design thinking.

· RHS Students Educate Others About Omaha History – A P–16 Initiative partnership linking UNO courses with high school learners.
