Huntingdon Borough seeks a more effective and economical solution to its leaves and yard waste collection and biosolids produced by its waste water treatment plant. One idea is to combine these waste streams and install a composting facility on borough grounds to produce a marketable compost product. Students are to develop a compost recipe based on local conditions and availability and design a site for such an operation.
