Interdisciplinary Research and Higher Education Congress 

We are delighted to announce that EPIC-N will participate as a partner, along with the Universidad de Chile and the Global Alliance for Inter- and Transdisciplinarity, in the Fifth Latin American Congress on Interdisciplinary Research and Higher Education, to be held from September 1 to 4, 2026, in Santiago, Chile.

The Interdisciplinary Research and Higher Education Congress (IEI) is the  most attended event on interdisciplinarity (ID) and transdisciplinarity (TD) in Latin America and the Caribbean. Held every two years in different countries of the region, it provides an opportunity to reflect on and exchange perspectives regarding the study of problems that transcend the scope of a single discipline.

Ten years after its first edition, this event offers a  platform for the exchange of experiences, reflection, and learning among researchers from Latin America and the Caribbean .

A pre-congress event for EPIC-LAC is planned for August 31 to September 1, 2026. We’d like to invite you to submit individual papers and organize thematic panels.
