03 Good Health and Well-BeingThe Adams County Department of Health and Human Services has identified a need for finding funding and grant opportunities allocated for health promotion. After identifying gaps and priorities in the county’s Community Health Improvement Plan and Community Health Assessment, three problems areas have been identified as a top priority: Alcohol and Other Drug Related Abuse, Mental Health including trauma and Adverse Childhood Experience, and Transportation. Although the top three priorities have been identified, many other community needs have been addressed in a miscellaneous section including: obesity, nutrition, and unintentional injury.
