FTN Engineering has been hired by the City of La Mesa to design a pedestrian bridge with the goal of creating a safe and efficient route for residents of La Mesa to access the 70th Street Trolley Station. FTN was hired on the basis of years of collective experience and personal familiarity of working within the San Diego Region, especially in public works. Additionally, FTN was selected to lead the project as they are fully equipped engineering firm whose services include: site civil engineering, structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, storm water, and general construction management, all of which are necessary to a successful design and timely completion of the project. FTN will develop all necessary engineering reports and plan sets in-house, as well as provide construction management to bid out specialty subcontractors for all site construction needs.
