Featured Speakers: Aliah Marzolf

During this deep dive webinar, graduate student Aliah Marzolf presents her findings after a year-long professional project researching and documenting emergency outreach by local governments and university programs. The presentation highlights examples elevated during interviews with a small group of practitioners. After the presentation attendees will be able to participate in a short Q&A. Following the Q&A EPIC-N staff will describe some of the other tools generated by the work that will be made available to EPIC-N members programs.

This webinar will be recorded and published in the EPIC-N Member Commons with resources shared during the presentation.



More about the Featured Speaker

Aliah Marzolf, from Gainesville, Florida, has been living in Seattle, Washington, since 2017. She loves living in the PNW and became a University of Washington Master’s student in 2019 to pursue a career in urban planning. While studying at the University of Washington Aliah also works with Brightmont Academy as a math and science teacher for grades 6-12. She graduated with a Bachelors of Science with a major in Biology and Environmental Studies from Eckerd College in 2016.
