Last Updated: 3:32 PM EDT 03/18/20

Every spring, the EPIC-Network hosts a conference and workshop for university representatives, local government officials, and organizational partners interested in adopting, adapting, and/or enhancing the EPIC Model for their institutions and communities.

All activities will now be hosted as individual presentations hosted online to protect against the spread of COVID-19. See the announcement by conference organizers here.

Indiana University’s Center for Rural Engagement and its Sustaining Hoosier Communities program are hosting the ninth annual EPIC-Network Conference April 5-7, 2020!

There are two primary outcomes attendees receive from attending: 1) Inspiration and support to launch new programs; and 2) Expertise shared by EPIC programs and their stakeholders.

This annual conference has been a primary method for launching the 30+ EPIC programs currently operating. For those new to the EPIC Model, the goal of the conference and workshop is to present how and why this flexible and adaptable model can work for you. The new program track is designed to help university and community leaders ‘Just Start’ working on the first partnership while at the conference. The flexible model allows some programs to start implementing in the Fall, while others used the information learned at the conference to embark on a planning year before their launch.
