EPIC  FCITEC  UABC

The EPIC FCITEC UABC program has been present at the Facultad de Ciencias de la Ingeniería y Tecnología (FCITEC) of the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (UABC) since 2023, applying the EPIC-N model in the development and presentation of various community-related projects. 

Participation includes students from various academic programs: Architecture, Graphic Design, Civil Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Bioengineering, among others. 

It started during the 2023-2 semester on a collaborative project with the Rosarito government (Urban Planning Institute) involving three academic programs and three courses. Since then, the number of programs and courses participating in multiple projects has increased each semester, further engaging the FCITEC Valle de las Palmas academic community as a leader in this type of projects within the whole UABC.

Fun Facts about EPIC FCITEC UABC

This program seeks to integrate teachers and students of the FCITEC academic unit by coordinating activities of selected courses in the implementation of projects from different disciplines in collaborative work for the benefit of various communities in the Tijuana metropolitan area (Tijuana, Tecate, Rosarito, and Valle de las Palmas)
