Things to do in Tampa

Welcome to Tampa!

With an average daytime temperature of 73 degrees and an average of eight hours of sunshine daily. Tampa in April is the perfect location for the 2019 EPIC-Network Conference!  Enjoy the amenities of the conference hotel and be sure to explore some of our area attractions below during your visit, including amazing restaurants and shopping.

Beaches

Some of the best beaches in the United States are located in the Tampa Bay area. The City of St. Pete Beach is a barrier island community located just off the Pinellas County mainland of Saint Petersburg, just south of Treasure Island, and Clearwater Beach. With miles of pristine, white sandy beaches, year-round sunshine and an abundance of recreational opportunities, these beaches are some of the most enjoyable in the world.

Busch Gardens

Busch Gardens Tampa is a 335-acre African-themed animal theme park.  The park officially features 8 roller coasters and 2 water rides amongst other rides and animal attractions. Its newest roller coaster, Cobra’s Curse, was opened in June 2016.

Channelside

Channelside Bay Plaza is an entertainment complex located in downtown Tampa. This neighborhood is one of the fastest growing areas of Tampa with high rise condominiums, shops, dining, and entertainment venues.

Florida Aquarium

The Florida Aquarium enables you to get up close to many of Florida’s aquatic and terrestrial animals and ecosystems, as well as others from around the world. More than a must-see attraction, we are working to protect and restore our blue planet on many conservation fronts, including research and rescue efforts that help restore Florida’s sea turtle and coral populations and to ensure that sharks continue to swim our seas.
